With 2012 being the Year of the Dragon and the 30th year since the Nike Air Force 1 first came out, Nike has decided to add to its Nike Air Force 1 collection a Chinese Yearly Zodiac inspired sneak, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year of the Dragon’ in Turquoise, Red and Gold.
For this creation, the Nike Air Force 1 sports a dragon skin textured leather in red for the upper with turquoise colored leather for the toe liner, lace liner, laces, sock lining and back heel collar. A touch of gold is given to the sneaks with the swoosh logo in gold leather highlighted with an outline of turquoise and the gold dragon logo on the back heel collar. The tongue also features a dragon logo with a colorful striped line running along the middle. The mid soles are in leather covered white while the bottom soles seem to be of gum rubber material in turquoise.
No news of the official release date yet but watch out for this new creation by Nike on soleredemption.com.

Hungry for the ultimate Uptown, Peter and Erik from Sweden’s Sneakersnstuff ventured to the Big Apple and knocked out these bespoke bangers. Featuring waxy olive leathers and cork paneling, Erik’s earthy kicks shout out his two cherished children on the heel, while Peter’s stately sneaker is all class in deep dark chocolate. With the defending champion Mavericks currently battling the Thunder in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, Nike have honoured reigning NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki with a special one-off Air Force 1 Bespoke. Featuring a subtle Dallas-inspired colourway and Dirk’s famous fadeaway captured in the ‘Sheed-style heel silhouette, the shoes are a tribute to Dirk’s dream of one day playing in the NBA.
