New Balance marked the unveiling of their 2011 Lifestyle collection at the recent Bread and Butter trade show with this playful little shoe box factory, celebrating the craftsmanship and imagination to be found at the brand’s UK production headquarters in Flimby. Back in January of this year, New Balance unveiled its New Balance 410 Slim Pack, which not only boasted a slimmer fit but also no signs of stitching. Now the brand has once again chosen the New Balance 410 silhouette as the shoe palette for further innovation. Pictured here are two pairs of the New Balance 410 Sonic. These shoes implement sonic welding- an environmentally friendly alternative to gluing or sewing, into the shoe-making process. The sonic welding also helps make each pair of shoes be more air and water tight. The New Balance 410 comes in women’s sizes and in a black/grey or grey/pink colorway. You can pick these up now at participating New Balance retailers.

New Balance x mita sneakers x HECTIC MT580 10th Anniversary Pack

As part of the 10th anniversary of the continuing project between HECTIC and mita sneakers the two have reworked another classic New Balance sneaker with the MT580. A follow up from a release in April, this time round the colorways consist of a a hugely impressive brown/tan version and a white/red/blue version. Releasing on June 26 at HECTIC this promises to be another great part of the story.

Usually when most people here the term or the numbers 420, immediately one thing comes directly to mind. That will not be the case though here with the new version of the New Balance 420. This sneaker will in no way have any relation to every stoner’s favorite holiday and will not even feature a single stitch of hemp anywhere in the upper. It will instead opt for an upper that is made up of both nylon and suede.
Altogether four new colorways of the New Balance 420 will be releasing and we are going to take a look at them all today. The first one to release will feature a bright yellow upper and be accented very nice by both blue and gray. Yellow will find its place as a secondary color on the next two pairs which will be predominantly black/teal or forest green. The last pair will put red accents on an all gray upper.

The New Balance brand seems to be gaining momentum and benefitting from celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, who is often seen sporting one of its sneakers. For this spring/summer, New Balance prepared the 1100 pictured here- a form-fitting shoe with a running silhouette, but designed for lifestyle wear. Aiming for both sleekness and being lightweight, the New Balance 1100 clearly borrows from the brand’s history of running shoes. The upper consists of a mono-mesh, while the sole is so flexible that it enhances the fit-to-foot style New Balance is going for. The New Balance Flimby-made is taking a re-release in two vibrant color pops and sets of shoe laces. As we all know, New Balance creates a lot of models at its Flimby factory in the United Kingdom and among these popular fits is the M1300. Not so long ago, we have seen this shoe in subtle colorways, and just to jive with the hot season, vivid color-ups are now up.
Let us first introduce the royal blue colorway which has a rendering of full black nubuck upper with grey technical mesh underlays. Royal blue comes in the form of leather heel tab, “N” logo background, midsole, and shoe laces. The other shade which is purple has a navy nubuck base and purple accent on similar spots. The M1300 features a large one piece “N” logo in white plus soft gray textile inner liner and classic Encap sole.

A couple of popular English pubs are now celebrating their milestones. This includes The Kings Head which is now celebrating 15 years since it opened in May 1988. The pub has grown from a small lounge of 36 seats to a multi-leveled pub with a capacity of 220. Another British chain pub is the Royal Oak which now celebrates 30 years of serving pub fare and pints to a public eager for the simplicity and comfort of a local pub. Finally, the Red Lion Pub which is a classic late 19th century pub with a long narrow bar that was once divided into Public and Saloon.
These three big names in dining industry were the source of inspiration for New Balance creating three stunning sneakers loaded in the Flimby Pub Pack. The first model is called The Kings Head with an upper of navy premium leather and a white/navy stripes inner liner. A custom Kings Head logo appears on the tongue.
The second model was dubbed as The Red Lion in which it owns red premium leather upper with a paisley design on the inside and The Red Lion tongue label. Lastly, The Royal Oak that comes in orange leather upper has dull green accent and an embroidered The Royal Oak logo on the tongue.
