Finally dropping tomorrow is the long-awaited nonnative x New Balance CM997 “Dune”.
Decked out in shades of tan, the premium collaboration utilizes everything from suede and mesh to smooth and tumbled leather for a luxurious look on par with some of the best drops New Balance has ever put out.
The limited collab is set to release at select locations tomorrow, February 4, including SNS.

Most of New Balance’s iconic models are being manufactured in its Flimby factory in England making them imported in other countries like the America. But today, the USA factory has announced the release of its own version of the New Balance M13000NR. This particular runner comes in a semi-monochromatic color scheme with a touch of a minimalist accent.
The latest New Balance M13000NR is a proud Made in USA that’s made of navy suede upper with navy mesh insert. Like most runners, this sneaker has the toe box, tongue, and part of the collar done in mesh to promote adequate ventilation, while the remainder works intact in suede for a more durable stance. The N logo sports white outline making it appear bolder for better stress and at the same time pulling out what the white Encap midsole is trying to convey. With this, the union of navy and white is highly established while red strikes less from the rear and tongue with corresponding New Balance labels.

Michigan-based sneaker boutique, Burn Rubber once again teamed up with New Balance for a fresh project utilizing the MT580 that pays homage to the blue collar and the white collar workers of their home town. These two distinct groups of people have been the inspiration behind this project.
The new silhouette known as the New Balance MT580 – Burn Rubber boasts a subtle upper with black leather covering and grey mesh inserts. It has a white N logo on the side that is matched with the white heel tab and tongue label. The sneaker’s special features include the gum outsole that is very visible even if the shoe lays flat on the floor and the canary-toned laces with Burn Rubber-labeled aglets and debray.
Burn Rubber and New Balance will be releasing the Blue Collar edition of the MT580 on February 1st and the White Collar on March 1st. Watch out for the release of both packs at New Balance retailers and the Burn Rubber store.
