[NEW RELEASE] ADIDAS ORIGINALS ARCHIVE TEAM GB COLLECTION

With the London 2012 Olympics only six months away, adidas digs through the archives for this amazing collection of sportswear. Comprised of pieces from Great Britain’s 1984 Los Angeles Olympics kit, the adidas Originals Archive Team GB collection features track jackets and jerseys as well as three classic indoor sports sneakers. The Gazelle Indoor gets drenched in dark indigo, the Tobacco goes down smooth in airforce blue, and the classic Handball 5 Plug is a welcome addition in Great Britain’s red, white and blue. The Team GB collection will be available in February through adidas Originals retailers.

As part of the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Jeremy Scott, takes a rendition of the adidas Roundhouse Mid and gives it that Jeremy Flare with the addition a series of 3m stripes along the upper and a single bright orange plastic and rubber cuff attached to the rear of the shoe.

By concept, Scott made use of the US flag’s colors, red, white, and blue, on the sneaker. In a most extreme sense, he made two different shoes for a pair where the right shoe comes up in red and the left shoe comes up in blue. Each shoe is designed with white stars along the wings and side panel, and also white stripes on the lateral.

Jeremy Scott’s favorite line, the adidas Originals have been showcasing some amazing new renditions such as the latest JS Wings. The brand doesn’t stick to what Scott has been showing up but continues to work on some other silhouettes that need more updates like the Chord Hi. Apparently, adidas is set to launch the Blue Collection where the Chord Hi belongs so the brand is proud to give a preview of the said high top sneaker.
The adidas Originals Chord Hi features an all-blue suede upper that has a distinct 3 Stripes logo being represented by the perforations along the lateral. It has a full toe box that comes seamless and sleek with perforated eyelets and tonal lace. A zigzag accent stitching flaunts on the tongue that’s done up in white creates a cool complement with the Trefoil logo and the Originals label. A hint of green leather pops up on the rear while white strip skirts the base. adidas gives this all-blue pack with a neat white sole unit.
Stocks of the adidas Originals Chord Hi will be available for the Spring/Summer Collection in the next couple of months.

It is time to welcome another set of Jeremy Scott-inspired adidas Originals that are due early this year. Of course, Scott stands firm with his original and authentic designs that once buzzed the entire sneaker community when he unveiled the JS Wings. Weird-looking but this model made it through various colorways, and now it has gained one more exclusive selection of tonal rendition with the use of blue denim that covers the entire upper. You will notice of the very detailed accent on the wings with the khaki stitching that matches the brown tongue label.
Along with the denim pair is a Captain America theme of the same JS Wings that appears in red and blue sporting white stars and stripes mimicking the American flag. Scott further includes two more models that are in knee high top cuts – one in black and white colorway that features distinct graphical pattern, and one that is done up in all-pink featuring straps and locks with white bottom.
